Six Weeks
Open to ages 13 - 15
Open to young people living in the Old Northeast/Columbus Park neighborhoods.
This program is a six week intensive arts intitiative that engages young teens in the development and creation of a small arts business. Groups of five youth work with a professional artist/educator and a curriculum developed by Front Porch Alliance and UMKC to create functional works of art that they will sell. Youth who qualify and are hired will be paid an hourly wage and recieve 50% of the work they sell.
